The Club’s large Banksia Room (function room) caters for private functions for 40 to 180 people. One of the strategic objectives of the Board is to increase the utilisation of this room for both Member and non-Member private functions. Our Executive Chef Markus Pekert has received outstanding feedback from guests (both Members and non-Members) who have hosted weddings, christenings and private functions at the Club over the past year. To increase the awareness of the first class function facilities, service and outstanding cuisine we provide, some advertisements will be running in local newspapers over the next two months in addition to our long term online advertisements.
The adverts include the offer of a free bottle of Moet champagne for any person making a booking and referring to the advert and I encourage you to consider contacting our Food and Beverage Manager Steve Smith functions@thelakesgolfclub.com.au if you or a family member or friend are considering hosting a birthday party, wedding, christening or other special celebration for 40 to 180 people in the coming year. There is now a fridge full of Moet champagne as well!
