Over 70 Ladies played in the 2018 Christmas Cheer Day on Tuesday 4 December, 2018. The event of the day was a modified team stableford event where the best one score would count on the par 3’s, the best two scores would count on the par 4’s and the best three scores would count on the par 5’s.
The golf course was once again presented in fabulous condition was our course team and coupled with the bright, sunny skies, made it great out there for a day of festive golf!
Many of the ladies embraced the Christmas Cheer spirit and donned the Christmas outfits to match. All the outfits were very colourful and certainly made the mood of the day even more cheerful!
Winners of the day – Mel Carter, Corinne Chareton-Schmidt, April Klineberg and Julia Bowen – 93 points
Runner’s Up – Belinda McKirdy, Tarina Foote, Sue Goble and Wendy Stiff – 91 points

After the golf had concluded, all the ladies moved into the Banksia Room for lunch and presentation of the day’s winners. Lunch was thoroughly enjoyed by all and another Christmas Cheer day was done and dusted. Congratulations to the winners today and all the ladies who participated in this wonderful event.
