The Annual ‘get dressed up’ day saw some outfits (probably favourites secretly stashed in the wardrobe) make their way into this century.
The comp of the day was an Irish Team Stableford – just 2 best scores on every hole.
A few hippy chicks added the all four scores into the Irish so when the cards were corrected, the winners of the Irish Team Stableford were Flora Zhao and Jennifer Wang with their guests Kathy Zheng from Avondale and Xiao Song from Sanctuary Cove Golf Club.
Just one shot behind them were Katrina Anderson and Bernadette Hudson and their guests Cheryl Clapham from Elanora and Fiona Karren from Mona Vale Golf Club.
The Flower Power Winners, which was all four scores on 5 holes only were Kim Preston and Nancy Harwood with their guests Robyn Kim from Terrey Hills and June Gehrig from Cronulla Golf Club.
To add more calculations to a mathematically themed day, was a scratch stableford.
Congratulations to Jane Loveday, Alice Wood and their guest Pauline Beckton from Northbridge Golf Club.
Appropriate to the 60’s theme, Raewyn Ellis-Doff fulfilled a swinger role to max out the score for the group.
Not to mention the plethora of individual talent for the Nearest the pins, Nearest in 2 shots, Long drives and the extremely cruel ‘Blind Shot’ nearest the pin to a green with no flag.
