On Saturday 4th July, the competition played was a Single Stableford – 3 Grade event and in conjunction with it was the Major Trophy Event the Memorial Bowl. The Memorial Bowl, originally scheduled for March was re-scheduled due to COVID-19 and is a Major Trophy, donated by Tom Ross and presented by the AIF section of the Club.
Congratulations goes to Luke Morgan, off a handicap of 27, who shot 39 points, with a staggering 25 points on his back nine to claim the 2020 Memorial Bowl. Congratulations Luke!

Today, Saturday 11th July, the competition was a Single Stableford – 1 Grade event and in conjunction was the Veteran’s Trophy, which is a Major Trophy, for Members who are 55 years of age and older. The Veteran’s Trophy, known as the Frank Everett Memorial, is a major trophy donated in 1987 by the family of former Member, Frank Everett.
There were 95 Members who were eligible for the Veteran’s Trophy today but having only turned 55, seven months ago, it was Tony Hindle who shot a great score of 39 points to claim the Veteran’s Trophy by one shot from David Collinson, who had 38 points. Tony finished birdie, birdie, par on holes 7, 8 and 9 to sign for 39 points.
