Visitor Days are not a new event on the golf club fixtures list. The Lakes Lone Ranger Day certainly pushed a few boundaries today welcoming Members Guests from nearly 20 different clubs in the Sydney Metropolitan area.
The event was a 3 best stableford scores on each hole with ‘a twist’. The anticipated winning score of 112 was the first card returned! It held the winning spot until Raj Narayan and her guest Isabelle Scougall together with Liz Clemow and her guest Fiona Taylor pipped them at the post with an extra point. The 112 score belonged to Sharne Aldridge and Joan Cleary and their guests Truda Rail and Meredith Holmes.
Overall, it was a fabulous sunny Autumn day with just enough breeze to challenge the players on the back nine.
