The Ladies Team Event on August 23rd will be a four person game called Hartball.
This is a type of Ambrose game where between the TEE and GREEN, all FOUR players hit their shot from the best position.
However, for each hole only two players DRIVE and the other two players PUTT.
Players are numbered 1 to 4. All combinations of pairs rotate three times through the 18 holes.
Scorecards will be printed to show which Players are drivers and which Players are putters for each hole.
After golf there will Mahjong to play or even just to learn all about it from Christina Souza.
Mahjong a tile based game of skill and chance developed in China originally during the Qing dynasty but is now played throughout the world.
Jane Loveday will be coordinating the Bridge players.
All you have to do is put your name down on the sign up sheet in the locker room to be a Mahjong or Bridge player on the day and the Golfshop will do the rest.
