At The Lakes, our Clubhouse and course are a sanctuary to our Members and guests, a beautiful place to escape their busy lives while only being a short 15 minutes from the CBD in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Our Clubhouse
Perched amongst the rolling greens, our contemporary Clubhouse offers a classy setting with sweeping views of the beautiful golf course and Botany Wetlands. Renovated in 2024, with the jewel of our upgrades being the expansive new function room, created by transforming our outdoor area into a versatile space perfect for any event. Inside, we’ve reimagined the clubhouse to create a series of cozy nooks and optimised spaces, ensuring every room offers a sense of elegance and luxury.
The Clubhouse features a large Members bar and restaurant, private dining room, and large function room. The entire food and beverage operation is serviced by a commercial kitchen that is built right in the heart of the building.
Retreat to our open-air balcony which extends along the northern side of the building, providing a stunning vantage point. To enjoy our perfect views of the city.
THE GREENS
Just 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD, 10 minutes from the calm inlet of Botany Bay, The Lakes is primely located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs to give you a dream-like view of the iconic skyline.
Our lawns are well maintained and nurtured, having hosted the golf Australian Open multiple times, our reputation speaks for itself. Whether you are planning on stepping foot on our course or not, you can appreciate the vast luscious stretches of manicured grassland. From our clubhouse, the greens provides the perfect backdrop to your function.

THE BANKSIA ROOM
The Banksia Room is our private function area, capable of comfortably seating up to 150 people; it features a beautiful cathedral ceiling to create a feeling of volume and space.
Glassed all the way around, the room boasts picturesque views of our stunning championship golf course, the waterways of the Botany wetlands, and the city skyline. The function room also features a stylish outdoor terrace, ideal for breaking out of the function. The room features a hardwood dancefloor
The Banksia Room features its’ own private bar to service function guests, and our cellar has a fine selection of wines to satisfy a wide range of palates.
THE HOLDER ROOM
Our Billy Holder room offers a unique venue experience for a slightly more intimate feel. Situated on the southern region of our club-house, seat up to 20 guests in a state of the art private function room.
Normally reserved as our Members private dining room, the Holder Room is a special place in the Clubhouse that can be converted perfectly for seminars, board meetings or small weddings. Full bar and catering facilities can be provided, ranging from light refreshments to breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Additional services such as access to free Wifi, an LCD screen make our Holder room a versatile venue that will make you and your guests feel comfortable.
